Dr. Gipp: QUESTION: I've either read it or heard this statement: "Most of the Greek text that is used in various Bible Colleges are 'back translations' from English into Greek." Yes, copies of the scraps or fragments of scriptures are available, but with many chapters in the Bible no fragments were available so the scholars have to rely on their own linguistic ability to back translate the scriptures? Can you expound on this for me?
